Bibhas De’s Proposed Discoveries:
EXPERIMENTAL VERIFICATION STATUS
This page discusses possible evidence that lends support to the proposed discoveries.
Proposed Discovery 1:
(1978)
A. This discovery is based on a theoretically proposed force in a dielectric in a magnetic field. For the Magnetohydroelectric (MHE) Theory, this force was invoked in a fluid dielectric. The proposed force was experimentally verified in a solid dielectric by independent researchers about the same time that I reported my ideas (but then unbeknownst to me). This being the case, the validity of the MHE Theory is not in question.
B. Several years after my report, a United States Patent was issued for a novel method of rocket propulsion, which is exactly the MHE Theory. Additionally, the patent used a rectification scheme to obtain a unidirectional force. This rectification scheme was also discussed by me.
Proposed Discovery 2:
(1992)
A. The companion wave – and its underlying theory of Vecuum Electromagnetic Interaction – are based on a theoretically proposed and argued assumption that the electromagnetic Poynting Vector (conventionally applied to electric and magnetic field of an electromagnetic wave) applies to electric and magnetic field from different sources. The later experimental development of the Cross Field Antenna (CFA) by independent workers verified this assumption.
Proposed Discovery 3:
(1996)
Proposed Discovery 4:
SOURCE-FREE MAGNETIC STRUCTURES
(2001)
A. It is suggested that a 1960s experiment may be interpreted as producing a precursor state for the source-free magnetic structure.
